subject: Nfl Tickets - Colts, Saints Remain Perfect Through Week 12 [print this page] All eyes are now on the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints to meet in the 2010 Super Bowl, as these two football teams have accomplished what has never been done in the league before, both sitting 11-0 with undefeated records after Week 12 of the regular season. Peyton Manning's Colts and Drew Brees' Saints have been selling out NFL tickets this season as the two dominant teams keep steamrolling over their competition, but the path to the playoffs doesn't get any easier from here.
The Indianapolis Colts had a month of miracles in November, hammering out four come-from-behind wins against the Houston Texans (twice), New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens in Weeks 9 through 12. Peyton Manning sure knows how to put on a show, and his team's last-second win (35-34) against the New England Patriots in Week 10 was one of the most memorable games of the entire year. Manning's Colts also demolished the Texans in Week 12 during the second half after coming back from a 20-7 deficit at halftime, and their ultimate 35-27 win over Houston proved why this Horse team is still undefeated.
The road to Indy's perfect season probably won't go without more of these scares, however, as the Colts still face tough teams such as the rapidly-improving division rivals the Tennessee Titans (Week 13), Denver Broncos (Week 14) and New York Jets (Week 16) before the regular season is over.
The New Orleans Saints, on the other hand, should be able to coast to a perfect 16-0 by the end of the regular season, facing the toughest competition in Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons and Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys before jumping right into the playoffs.
It is fully plausible to expect the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints to face off in the 2010 Super Bowl, and if this Big Easy team keeps up its hard-hitting ways and winning streak, it's possible that the big gold and black will come away with a Super Bowl Championship at the end of the season. The Saints have been the unwavering favorite all season long, not bringing about the last-second excitement like the Colts have. New Orleans pounded the New England Patriots 38-17 in a Week 12 blowout, sending a wave of reinforcement through to the rest of the teams in the NFL that this New Orleans team is absolutely no fluke.
Quarterback Drew Brees is part of the reason why the Saints have had such a stellar season this year, and he currently leads the league with 27 touchdown passes this season. He's also supported by running backs Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush and Mike Bell and receivers Marques Colston and Devery Henderson, and this squad of offensive standouts has helped the Saints earn the No. 1 ranking in total offense in the league.
While the New Orleans Saints look to continue their perfect record through the last part of the regular season, the Indianapolis Colts hope to pound out more wins, as well (maybe even some that aren't such close calls). Tickets to Colts and Saints games for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs are available online even if they're sold out, and with these two teams remaining undefeated, tickets to games are more than mildly valuable.
