One important thing is not to dress as the trendiest animal, or you may find yourself in a room with several others dressed similarly. Be a little creative, and pick an animal that is not as mainstream at the moment. It's also good to pick one that suits your temperament and perhaps body type. I'd make a poor sheep or mouse, but a great elephant or gorilla!
