Greif, a recognized national authority on medical building development, served as chairman of the board for a 430-bed not-for-profit hospital for two decades. During his term, he spearheaded the development of a medical office building next to the hospital campus. This ambitious and ultimately very successful enterprise had a profoundly positive effect on the communitys efforts to develop a medical district offering varying levels of care in one location. Throughout his career, Greif has made his recognized expertise in real estate and business matters freely available by serving in a leadership or advisory capacity to a number of vital non-profit entities, including: the American Cancer Society of Johnson County, the Theater League Guild of Greater Kansas City, and the KCPT Public Television network.
