Man, what a feeling when the choppers came. We are going home! That evening we had a wonderful party in the prison building on the base at Ondangwa. The next day was Sunday. Actually, a prison is a good place to party.There is not much you can break. You can also sleep right there; at least that way you don't cause other mischief.

'Don't you want to become a minister?' one of the guys asked me during the course of the evening. 'I do,' I answered.'I want to talk to you. ''About?' I asked. 'About God. I don't believe there is such a thing,' he said. I could see that he had had a few too many. Daring, once he's smashed, I reckoned.

'We can talk,' I said. 'Maybe tomorrow...'
