subject: Free Ba Flights With Lloyds Credit Card [print this page]

With a flow of competition saturating the credit card market, many providers offer incentives in an attempt to make their product stand out from the rest.

These incentives can be anything from extended 0% balance transfer and purchase periods, to Airmiles credit cards, and can be incorporated into your everyday spending to make the most of your credit cards.

Lloyds recently upped its game, after launching the Lloyds duo credit card, offering customers an attractive rewards scheme that can be used to benefit from free flights.

The Lloyds credit card is featured on moneysavingexpert.com, as customers can now benefit from an introductory offer that would make it possible for cardholders to earn 2 free flights within 3 months.

With Lloyds Airmiles Duo you get both an Amex & Mastercard and if you apply before June you have the potential to earn a massively accelerated one AirMile per 1 spent on the Amex (max 1,500) for the first 3 months.

After this introductory period expires the rate goes back to the normal 1 per 10 spent. To make the most of this credit card, it is recommended that you set up a direct debit to repay the full outstanding balance each month to ensure you won't pay any interest. Then simply use your Lloyds card for your normal day-to-day spending and build up AirMiles.

If you spend 1,500 within the first 3 months you can earn enough airmiles for two return flights to Paris or Amsterdam flying with British Airways (BA), or one return flight to most European airports that BA flies to, including Italy, Spain, German, and the Czech Republic.

Alternatively, you have the option to apply for the same credit card and spend just 10 on the Amex to qualify for a 1,500 Miles voucher, however in this case you are required to book at least one night in a hotel via the AirMiles website, which may be costly.
