A couple of years ago I purchased a wealth building system called Profit Lance. I was looking to get started with internet marketing and was looking for information on how to get started. So I searched for a kit or ebook that would teach me how to get started. I searched.and searched.and searched. I could not tell you how many pitch pages I looked at online. If I had gotten paid by the hour to read through all those pages, I wouldnt have needed to start an online business! Every time something looked interesting, I would go digging for the truth in forums. Search for the programs name and read the discussions in the forums. Oddly, most of the programs were all getting bashed. Go figure! Scammers on the internet, something you dont see too often, huh? Finally, I came across Michael Andrews Profit Lance program. It looked interesting. Well put together web page, lots of testimonials, decent price. So now for the big testthe forums. Well guess what? It passed! Not with flying colors, mind you. Unfortunately there are still people out there who think internet marketing is an instant $10,000 - $15,000 per month. They dont realize that it takes lots and lots of work to get the business going. Profit Lance, as near as I could tell, would give you the knowledge and skills to start your own affiliate marketing business. But it only works if you read through it and apply it correctly! I say that because I made the mistake of reading through a very small portion of it and thinking, Okay, Im ready to make money. Im a smart guy, I dont need to read any more of this stuff. Needless to say, I didnt make a penny and I started to think that maybe I had gotten ripped off. My arrogance cost me two years while I learned a little bit on my own. I slowly got it into my head that I needed my own product and my own website to make money. So I took the little bit that I learned from Profit Lance and found a subject that interested me (which Profit Lance recommends), golf, and wrote a short manual on the pitch shot. Created my own website and went live with it. Guess what? I made nothing! I didnt promote the website and get the word out that it was out there. I had a few inquiring emails from people at Clickbank looking to become affiliates, but no sales. Had I read more tutorials in Profit Lance and done the practice exercises that they provide you with, I would have known about article marketing. Profit Lance provides you with tutorials and practice exercises to learn how to write effective articles and where to post them. Profit Lance teaches you how to write solid sales copy as well, whether it is for your article or for your sales page, again with tutorials and exercises designed specifically to develop those skills. One more point, Profit Lance is a one-time payment for full access to everything they have to offer. Theres no additional sales pitch to buy more books or monthly membership fees. One payment for a lifetime of instruction to learn at your own pace. Just dont make the same mistake I did, take the time to read and learn if youve never done this before. It took me two years to realize just how valuable a resource the Profit Lance course really is. And be realistic with your goals. Dont go and order that new BMW just yet. From what I can gather, it takes a couple of years to effectively make decent money with online/affiliate businesses.
