The driver was arrested. He was charged with speeding, manslaughter, and criminally negligent homicide.
In this report the driver of the motor vehicle was a drunk eighteen year old male. The accident happened on a Sunday morning at roughly 2:30. The greatest percentage of drunk driving accidents occur on weekend nights. The driver struck a male pedestrian, forty four years of age, who was crossing a road. Due to the accident he sustained serious head injuries. The driver was arrested. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving under the influence.
This accident involved an 18 year-old male driving in a residential area at around 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. The accident happened when the teenaged driver lost control of his car.
