subject: Specific Factors Influence Students Career Planning Process [print this page]

Living in the modern democratic world, most people feel free to do all they want (within the boundaries of the law) and enjoy the independency. Though, there are a number of factors that influence peoples life. It is significant to mention that most of those factors provide unconscious impact and take place in early childhood. People usually start the career planning process when they select the college or any other educational establishment and think that it is their personal choice. Look at some alternatives that shed light on the fact who is really responsible for the decisions people make while career planning.

1.People are born in the families and live in the society that regulates their understanding of the entire world and the processes that occur there.

2.Being too young, people do not make decisions, their parents do it instead of them. Is it a free personal decision? Of course, it is not. Attending different groups of interests and study groups, people do not choose, they perceive everything as granted.

3.Still, there are great many of things people may change in their lives. For example, when parents make their kid to attend dancing classes in early childhood, it does not mean that when grow up a person must continue attending those boring and uninteresting classes. Becoming older, people begin understand what they really want from life.

4.The college life is exciting and unexpected. It is not surprising that subjects at college or events happened while studying may become the core factors for career choice and planning.

5.Society itself greatly impacts peoples plans. Layers and doctors are rather prestigious occupations and many people want to connect their life to one of those professions ignoring the fact that physical training is the subject they adored at school while chemistry or law were disgusting and too complicated.

Hence, people must remember that there are great many of factors that influence their career planning process, most of which are not noticed. Make the correct choice and be influenced only by the positive alternatives. Good luck!
