Welcome to the Redondo Beach Homes for Sale Market Update.

Im Trace Keasler, real estate broker specializing in Redondo Beach homes for sale since 1989

In this weeks episode were going to discuss the trend of this years South Redondo Beach homes for sale trend, looking at the months of January through May of 2010

Well be looking at the monthly trend in four main areas:

1.The number of homes listed

2.The number of homes pending (gone into escrow)

3.Homes sold (closed sales)

4.The price trend

In the first slide, number of South Redondo Beach homes listed for sale, we see the number of homes coming on the market rising, which would not necessarily be good for South Redondo Beach home prices.

Slide two, the number of homes pending, or going into escrow, appears to be going downward. Again, not good for home prices.

In slide three, number of Redondo Beach homes sold each month, the number appears to be rising, which gives us mixed messages about this market.

Finally, slide four, the market appears to be flat.

To sum it all up, appears to be flat at bestand very weak. Based on these stats, the market for South Redondo Beach Homes for sale appears to be weaker than the Manhattan or Hermosa markets.

Is it a good time to buy a home?

The only answer is maybe. Using these statistics, it doesnt appear the market is going down.

There is certainly no rush to buy a home in Redondo Beach right now. It looks like this window of opportunity is here to stay for the foreseeable future. At least.
