Trees are very crucial, actually, they are required for our very life. The existence of trees on earth helps to provide the conditions to make life better. Trees have many purposes:

1.They supply oxygen.

2.They clean the soil by eliminating unsafe matters.

3.They take in noise pollution.

4.They absorb carbon dioxide from the air.

5.They clear the environment of air contaminants.

6.They supply shade and cools the atmosphere.

7.Trees stop soil erosion.

As a result of these crucial roles that trees perform, it is very difficult to kill a tree but at times it is compulsory to do so. Nobody in their sanity would wish to kill a tree for no legitimate cause. There are various situations where it becomes compulsory kill a tree. When a tree becomes damaged by storm or infected by beetles or bugs, the best thing to do is kill the tree. If a tree poses a danger to the environment, it is necessary to kill the tree. If the tree is in an area that will be used for erecting a building, the tree needs to be killed.

Means to Kill a Tree

#1 Falling with a Chainsaw.

Materials Necessary:

Gloves

Hearing protection

Safety glasses

Tools Necessary:

Chainsaw

Instructions:

1.Dress yourself with protective gears. These are safety goggles to guard your eyes, hearing protection to minimize the loud noise and gloves to protect the hands.

2.Decide on the safe and appropriate direction to drop the tree in. Then start the chain saw and put it on a part of the tree.

3.Apply force on the saw and cut a notch into the trunk of the tree. Keep cutting downward approximately 1/3 through the tree.

4.Make another cut upward to join the first cut. Remove the notch.

5.Cut on the opposite side to make a hinge to manage the falling of the tree.

6.Stop the chainsaw when the tree begins to fall and move away from the path where it is going to land. You can then cut up the tree into smaller sections to dispose of or burn.

#2 Using Kosher salts

Materials Required:

Kosher salts

sand

Tools Necessary:

Drill with inch bit

Directions:

1.Use the drill to make holes around the tree trunk right above the roots approximately 2 feet apart.

2.Fill the holes with kosher salts.

3.Cover the base of the tree with sand. The tree will suffocate and eventually die.

#3 Using Nitrogen Fertilizer

Necessary Materials:

Nitrogen Fertilizer

Necessary Tools:

Drill with inch bit

Directions:

1.Use your drill to bore holes around the tree trunk approximately 2 feet apart.

2.Fill the holes with nitrogen fertilizer. The tree will grow fungus and decompose the wood in about 4-6 weeks based on the tree size.

Tip:

For this technique to work successfully, the tree must be kept moist.

#4 Using Sodium Chloride

Materials Necessary:

Sodium chloride

Water

Container

Directions:

1.Combine 1 part of sodium chloride with 2 parts of water.

2.Pour the solution around the tree trunk.

Tips and Warnings:

For this method to kill a tree effectively, it has to be replicated 3 or 4 times. The tree will die in about 4-6 weeks depending on its size.

The solution may cause a danger to neighbouring plants.

#5 Using Roundup Weed-Killer

Required Materials:

Roundup weed killer

Necessary Tool:

Funnel

Drill with inch bit

Directions:

1.Using drill, bore numerous holes around the tree trunk in a steep angle.

2.Pour the roundup weed killer into the holes by using the funnel. Do not overfill holes. The tree will die in 2 weeks.
