Canon has made a head start in the new year by announcing four new PIXMA line of printers. These printers are sleek, stylishly designed and offer better features than its predecessors. They are aimed mainly for homes, home offices and small businesses.

The list includes multi-function printers in PIXMA MX350 and MX340. And, a wireless multi-function printer in PIXMA MX870. It is followed by a single function entry level printer in PIXMA iP2702.

The Canon PIXMA MX350 is a perfect printer for offices looking for optimum utilisation of their funds and facing space constraints. The printer offers excellent quality by default and is mounted with a 2.5" LCD screen. It is network capable and can perform sans PC through PictBridge and memory card slots.

Canon has introduced an entry level office all-in-one printer in MX340. It has an additional fax module as well, and the interface options include Ethernet and USB 2.0. Automatic document feeder is present as well.

The manufacturer announced the arrival of a high end printer, PIXMA MX870. It features Advanced Media Handling capabilities with Auto Duplex copying, printing, incoming black and white fax documents and a two-way paper feed to improve efficiency in offices. Print speeds are grand at 9.2 pages per minute for monochrome and 6.1 pages per minute for colour.

The last in this segment of releases is a single function photo printer in PIXMA iP2702. It can deliver lab quality photographs in under a minute, and comes embedded with a host of photo editing software on it.About the Author:
