It is considered the best public golf course in the U.S. according to Golf Digest and has ones of the highest fees as well. For the amateurs of the game this golf course offers a challenging and exiting landscape that stretches along the coast of the Monterey Peninsula.

In preparation to the grand tournament, Pebble Beach has gone through a number of changes and enhancements. Despite all tweaking the course appearance won't vary significantly from what it was during the previous championships. The course itself has been stretched, new teeing greens have been added, some of the holes have been moved closer to the ocean, lots of trees have been planted and some of the existing repositioned. Pebble Beach Golf Links is still being redesigned to intensify the challenge and exceed both players and guests expectations.

One thing we can be sure, Pebble Beach is known as a highly challenging course, and it will remain this way in spite of these changes.
