subject: Get Your Confidence Back With Hemorrhoids Diet [print this page]

Sometimes, having the most simple illnesses and diseases could affect us directly. A minor cold can hinder us from doing our activities. Even hemorrhoids could do that, too. Because it causes several negative things for us, we do everything to treat these negative conditions that our bodies are in. In the case of colds, we treat the reason of it. We combat the bacteria or the virus, whichever the cause may be. For hemorrhoids, on the other hand, since majority of the hemorrhoids cases are associated with bad diet, we treat it and practice good hemorrhoids diet.

Since our bodies are what we primarily have to help us do what we are supposed to do, achieve what we are supposed to achieve and reach dreams that we are supposed to reach. We will ever be able to do these if we are unhealthy.

In the case of hemorrhoids, a life-long commitment to a healthy diet is necessary so as not to let it come back. In most cases, if you have hemorrhoids and then you change your diet to the ideal hemroid diet, the hemorrhoids will go away. But if you go back to your original, unhealthy regimen, it will be back. Self-discipline is very essential in keeping our bodies healthy.

Always remember that fiber is very important to be ingested daily. Ingest 30-40 grams of fiber a day and you'll be good. Also, make sure you take a lot of water so that fiber can do what it is supposed to do, which is to prevent constipation.

Like a sponge, fiber inside the intestines absorbs the water. Because of this, the stools are being soaked and are softened. This primarily prevents constipation.

Do not ever forget to include fiber-rich food in your diet. This is not difficult to comply with because a variety of foods out there are practically rich in fiber. Here are 5 examples that are categorized to have the highest possible fiber content.

Bran cereal is number one. Grab this from the grocery shelf and pay for it right away because a cup of it alone is already 19.94 grams fiber. That is half the daily requirement, right?

Split peas that are cooked are on the second rank. On cup, estimated to be about 7 grams of split peas contains fiber content of 16.27 grams.

On the third spot are cooked lentils. Cook one cup of this then you will automatically have about 15.64 grams of fiber in your diet.

Dry oats came in fourth in the ranking. It has fiber content of about 12 grams. Just eat about a cup of it and you'll find it very helpful in a lot more ways than one.

Avocado came in fifth on the list. A medium avocado contains about 30% of your daily need of fiber which is about 11.84 grams.

There are a lot more food sources of fiber that should be eaten to have an ideal hemorrhoids diet. Beans are very rich in fiber. Rice, raspberries, apples, bananas, almonds, pasta, papaya and the list goes on. All you have to do is be aware of what you eat because the saying "you are what you eat" is actually true.
