Getting dumped by your boyfriend is a tough issue to go through. Some guys will let you down effortless by asking to stay friends, but in truth they hate it. Others however, really wish to keep in touch with you. . . and very often, you at their side. Particularly in the instance of a long- term relationship, it is not simple to just give up on someone you see and talk to regularly. For this reason, a friendly relationship with an ex boyfriend may look attractive to you.

The Facts however, is that you are finally going to get hurt. Either your ex boyfriend will meet another person, and break your heart. . . or you will meet someone else, and have to ditch the friendship just for the sake of your new relationship. No boyfriend you start seeing will understand when you tell him you still hang out and discuss with your ex. Similarly, any new girl that your ex boyfriend dates will dislike you on principal: after all, you have been intimate and close with her new man. None of these circumstances is appealing, and there's no simple solution to them.

You may believe being friends with your ex is a smart way of getting back into a relationship with him, but you couldn't be more incorrect. The opposite is proven to be correct: friendship gives your ex with just about everything he wants from a relationship with you, however without the burden of commitment. He has no motivation to date you again, since he is already have companionship. And as long as sex goes, your ex can get that somewhere else. . . or he can also try to initiate sexual contact with you once more, particularly if he knows you want him. Sleeping with your ex could be comforting for a while, however in the end it does not work in getting him back.

But wait, there is some great news too. If your ex suggests remaining friends after he ends things, there is an excellent possibility he is still unsure of the breakup. He wants to keep you close while he makes up his mind if or not he wants to date you again. He could attempt a new relationship, or he might stay single for a while. . . however as long as you are still friends with him he is going to maintain breakup going strong. As long as you are on the other end of that phone or keyboard, your ex boyfriend will feel at ease enough to keep right on looking.

If your ex boyfriend wants to be friends with you, make the most of it so as to get him back. Push him out of his comfort zone. Rather than agreeing to gladly hang out with him on a platonic basis, allow him know you do not think it is a great idea. Pull away from him, and leave him alone for some time. This will make him miss you, and consider the relationship.

If you do not contact your ex, he will begin worrying that you are the one who's moving on. Of course, if he loves you, he will be very upset when that occurs. This will steer him back to you, all because you turned down his offer and broke contact.

Do not settle for friendship when you actually desire your ex back. Too often it will result in the post- breakup heartache and pain that you are merely delaying. By calling his bluff, you will find out if he really loves you or not. If he is still got strong emotions for you, then you have nothing to worry about.About the Author:
