Then if you need your boiler straight away, you have to invite someone into your home to find out what you need. All the questions you have you might forget when your trying to work out wether you can trust this persons opinion. I was bought up on, you only trust your nearest and dearest. So for me trying to work someone out when then are trying to get hold of your hard earned cash is quite hard to do. I found out along the way that i would rather trust someone who from the very beginning of meeting them, if used an open book philosophy. Applying that to buying a new boiler I always prefer to do business with companies and businesses that show me the relevant costs involved. Im always happy to pay someone for their hard work and i understand that that doesnt come cheap at times. Its the materials that I am interested in and thats where I begin to loose trust in even the largest and most established companies. Companies that just list materials as (1) then put no price next to them infuriate me. They wont give you a break down of any cost. No sorry cant trust you at all, it's obvious your trying to get more profit from me than what you labour price says and then I forget what my questions are about for my new boiler and start trying to drill down the costs, as like everyone i'm trying to protect my hard earned cash from people or companies that want to fleece me of it. I'm after a bargain, A deal, im after the best materials and service for the best price arn't we all. I found a boiler company at the end of all my quotes and quandries, they gave me a full break down of everything to do with my installation right down to the clips that they installed. and amazingly when i was being quoted i got chance to concerntrate on the real questions at hand. They were answered easily enough and after being shown my quote believing this company about the prices I had a great deal more confidence in letting them in my home to do what they said they could do. I would try asking anyone who comes into my home to do work for this breakdown. I think it shows confidence in a company if they can say heres my price and this is what it breaks down into.
