subject: Christian Worship Music At Pekanbaru [print this page] It was an awesome pleasure to share Christian worship music at Pekanbaru in northern Sumatra, Indonesia, on the final weekend in May, 2010. I was visiting this church with Dr. Invoice Newman is part of our northern Sumatra outreach, and was delighted to meet Pastor Ray, Pastor Anthony and others who oversee this unbelievable GPI church. The Christian worship music I shared was properly-received, and there was an important response when Invoice referred to as people to the entrance to face for Jesus.
The band and singers provided a number of the greatest Christian worship music Ive heard anyplace, and it was a joy to share a worship seminar with the gang! I felt that musically I had little to offer them, as a result of their musical skill was so high, but I wished to take the time to share with them on problems with the center in face by worship leaders across the world.
Like many other nations around the globe, church buildings in Indonesia are dealing with somewhat of an ethical crisis within the area of worship leading. Across the islands, there have been many examples of inappropriate relationships occurring within worship groups, so that is the space I chose to speak on this excellent group of singers, musicians and worship leaders.
I do not feel for a second that this is about to occur here. However we are far better to speak about this stuff earlier than they take shape, than to disregard them and hope that the whole lot will be advantageous within the future.
Dr.Newman and myself feel that the Lord is doing great and noteworthy things within the nation of Indonesia, and that this GPI church in Pekanbaru will develop into a key player in the transfer of God in this nation. We're eager to have a protracted-standing relationship with the influential churches like this, because we sensed that there is revival coming for this nation, and that Pastor Rays church might be one of many key lighthouses for your complete region.
In order we leave town, we look back on this weekend with fondness, and the data that God is doing great and fantastic things in this city. We look ahead to returning and including larger meetings and seen God to much more remarkable things, as the wonderful nation of Indonesia moves in the direction of world shattering revival.
