You might be thinking wow, big deal but there is huge potential to meet other like-minded people and share info, website links, etc. by using this social networking site. Those factors, along with the ability to grow your followers, makes it a perfect platform for business.

There are also a lot of other things you can do using Twitter. You can send direct messages to individual users instead of broadcasting to everyone. There are mobile options where you can send and receive tweets via SMS and email from your cell phone. There are also search options that allow you to find Twitter users who are posting about a certain subject.

Twitter is taking the world by storm and there is a massive potential for business owners, online and off. So, if youre not a member of Twitter yet, you will want to check it out.
