Internet Marketing! Why I Need Traffic to My Website?

It is astonishing how many people have the incorrect idea about Internet marketing for neighbourhood business. It is even more disturbing how many businesses out there have been fooled into believing that by simply putting up a website they will get traffic, wrong.

As with brick and mortar businesses LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION plays a significant part in running a flourishing business. Without people being able to find you easily and seeing you regularly you can kiss any feet over your doorstep goodbye.

Putting up a website and expecting people just to find it is like writing a book and to put it on a shelf in a major library in the world and expecting people to read it, ridiculous isnt it? But this is precisely what local business owners have been lead to believe.

Look it is better for your product to have a website than not, but would it not better to have that website generating hot, targeted leads 24/7, month after month at a fraction of the cost of a Yellow pages or newspaper ad?

This is why you need traffic and this is why your location online is significant. What do I mean about location online? Well just like having a business on your local main street with lots of passing traffic and potential customers, your website need to be in the right location to get online traffic.

And the only way to get decent online traffic is to have your website on the 1st page of Google and other search engine for your products. Location, location, location...

The other factor that makes an online search so dominant is the fact that if you rank for the right search term for your products, most of the leads you get will come to you at an highly developed stage of the buying process.

Just think about someones geyser packing up and they hate cold showers, their search for a Cape Town dentist will be urgent.

Now wouldnt you like to be found for those kinds of search for your products, wouldnt you?
