subject: Your Time Efficient Guide Through the Modern Bible [print this page] Author: Ann Lim Author: Ann Lim
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 The decision of following which path to follow, which decisions to make has been an everyday journey for most people. Yes, we do have a lot of things that we desire, ambitions to pursue, answers to questions that needs response. But more often than not, us humans have been very impatient when things dont go our way. If you would read the modern bible, you would understand that Gods time is not the same as that of mans. We should understand that success through our endeavors can only be granted when we do the right things at the right time. One may strive harder to produce quicker results, but as long as he cannot fathom the meaning of working along Gods time, this man will never succeed because he has underestimated the power of right timing. But how would you know if its the right time? Read your bible and as what Solomon had said, He has made everything appropriate to its time, and has put the timeless into their hearts, without men's ever discovering, from beginning to end, the work which God has done (Ecc. 3:11). When the time is right, one would observe that it wouldnt take much for the events and the surroundings to conspire to its success. But this does not mean that while waiting for the right time, you can go and procrastinate. Great leaders from the past has been known to surround themselves with the wise people that would help them in their decisions on when and how to strike. Just because the time is not right doesnt mean that there is never a right time. Not using your days and time wisely will make you forget that you dont have forever to accomplish your purpose in life. As it is, if life right now seems lifeless and dead, this is the time to dream. A time to dream with a purpose to make it a reality will never be a wasted time. What if, you realized that maybe, the right time has passed you by and theres no way that you can bring those glorious days back. Ephesians 5:16 tells us to redeem the time. Which means that although you can never buy your passed time with your money, you can always buy it with the good opportunities that come you way. But how do we know if it is the right time? Surely, most people would be afraid to act thinking that they might be doing what they ought to do on a wrong time. Again, we must be reminded that God is good and therefore, would not complicate lives for us. Recognize that in every season, an activity is bound to happen or done. And when you understand the time that you are in, begin to act accordingly. Remember, the key to fulfilling your purpose is to act relevantly according to the call of the times.About the Author:
