You make this ahead, freeze in ice cube trays, then when you are ready, grab some frozen cubes, toss in the blender for a few seconds and you have a refreshing creamy cold latte. These are great to keep in the freezer for any unexpected need that may pop up. Not a latte person? How about a Good Morning Smoothie to start your day? Packed full of nutrition, it is also quick and easy, No need to skip breakfast when you can enjoy this delicious smoothie before starting your day. Have teens who don't think they have time for breakfast? This smoothie is the perfect answer. CREAMY MOCHA LATTE 3/4 cup water
2 tbsp ground espresso
2 cups milk
1 can (14-oz) Creamy Chocolate Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 pint coffee ice cream, softened Microwave water and espresso together in a 1 cup glass measuring cup on high power for 1 minute. Let stand 1 minute. Pour through a paper coffee filter, discarding grounds. Stir together the milk and coffee. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 2 hours. Process half the sweetened condensed milk, half of the ice cream, and half of the coffee cubes in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides. Repeat the procedure with the other half of the ingredients. Serve immediately. HELLO MORNING SMOOTHIE
1 small ripe banana, peeled and cut in half
1 container (8-oz) low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/8 tsp maple syrup
1 small mango, chopped
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup ice cubes Puree the banana, yogurt, maple syrup, mango, orange juice and sugar in blender container. With the blender on add the ice cubes,one at a time, through the feeder hole while the lid is still on. Add cubes until mixture is smooth and thick. Serves 2. Enjoy!About the Author:
