You will not only face the patient but also the family's member. Because of that, a LPN should be caring person. LPNs should be friendly to the patient. They also have to be intelligent to analyze the patient's condition. Building a good relationship with the patient is one main requirement you should fill.

It is better for you to prepare your education since you are in high school. You should focus in the biology, chemistry, algebra, English, and other science lessons.

Usually the LPN nursing education including the schools is only about one year for the studies and the training in the hospital, community college, or technical vocational school. If you choose the programs, you should get the permission from the Board of Nursing so you can be qualified for the nursing licensure.

You must get the nursing degree by the state-approved program before you can take the NCLEX-PN or the National Council Licensure Examination. You can advance your career become a RN or Registered Nurse. To become a RN, you can join the LPN or BSN program. Your experience becoming a LPN can help you to pass the test that will be held in some BSN classes. It will help you to save your time and money.
