Airport Access:
If you're in Atlantic City for business, not pleasure, don't worry. There are accommodations available for you, too. Staying near the airport would probably make the most sense, in such cases. The Borgata, Comfort Inn North or the Dr. Jonathan Pitney House are good options in the area, but there are other hotels that you can look into, too.
Atlantic City Hotel Alternatives:
While there are other five-star hotels in the city or big name hotels, anyway, you may not have the money to stay in hotels like the Trump Marina Hotel or hotels of that nature. That's not a problem, though. Many areas of the city, such as Pacific, Kentucky and North Carolina Avenues, are devoted to hotels with more reasonable rates. So, you might stay at the El Greco Motel, Rodeway Inn Hotel or other similar places, if they fit your budget needs better.
If you really want to enjoy your stay, the trick is to decide where to stay ahead of time. Make sure that you have your hotel room reserved well in advance. That way, you won't have that worry when you arrive. Instead you can just focus on the things that you want to do in the city.
