subject: QuickBooks 2010 The Official Guide [print this page] After years of using Quicken I was excited to move up to a powerful tool that would not only keep me organized but give me the power to help predict the future of my business.
What I got was an uninspiring counterintuitive program with all the excitement of the tax code. None of the graphic clarity of Quicken was passed on, and none of the autocomplete shortcuts that save me the time I could be using to think about my company. This is just plain old double entry bookkeeping that links data bases.
Since I don't extend credit, I don't need all the invoices and receivables software. I can do most everything with Quicken that I hoped to accomplish with Quickbooks and I don't have to take an expensive course to learn how to use it.
