Some of the users of fertilizer, including the household consumers and agricultural producers, asked this question on what if switching from traditional chemical to bio organic fertilizer, will the change destroy or affect the growth of the crops ?

Bio Organic fertilizers are typically gradual release whereas the chemical fertilizer is powerful and instant. In fact from some studies, the bio-organic fertilizer is much safer and better off for the crops than the chemical fertilizers.

Will the so-called powerful and instant features of chemical fertilizer healthy to the consumers or plants ? If the crops are not servable by people or livestock, such as flower and non-fruiting tree, the chemical fertilizer application on crops should be okay. However, if the crops are consumable, whatever chemical elements that absorbed by the plants, will finally transfer into the body of people. Does anyone of you prefer to consume chemical fertilizer indirectly everyday ?

Frankly speaking, the chemical fertilizer does not have significant effects on crops because the plants themselves do not have brain to choose, that is, whatever we supply to the crops, they will absorb it wholly. However the chemical fertilizer will have great effects on the soil and environment in long-term. Please view below to enlighten further.

Both the chemical and bio organic fertilizers will not kill crops unless the users and farmers overdose the fertilizer on crops. The crops are like human body, if we overdose ourselves with excessive supplements and vitamins, which beyond our body needs, will cause us falling illnesses or with serious diseases.

If we rephrase the question : Changing From Bio-Organic To Chemical Fertilizers : Can Kill Crops ? The answer is no, but the plants will get faded or limited growth after a long term continuation of chemical fertilizers application. Why ? The application of chemical fertilizer will gradually destroy the good elements of soil.

What are the consequences of deterioration of the soil quality ? After a period of time of chemical application, the soil particles will become compact and not be able to retain nutrients and moisture (basically the water retention). Sooner and later, the soil will become harder and harder and the absorption of water by the roots of plants will be extremely limited.

Water is the important substance of any plant. Therefore, with restricted intake of water by the root radicles of plants will inevitably fade or limit the growths of the crops.

However for the organic fertilizer, not all the bio-organic fertilizers have positive effects on plants and soil. We observe plenty farmers and users ever experienced some ineffective organic fertilizer and this inevitably resulted them a thought that the bio organic fertilizers have no difference with the chemical fertilizer. This is not correct ! We can only justify that the selection of a correct bio-organic fertilizer by the users is extremely significant.

A wonderful bio organic fertilizer should enhance the soil quality and will never result hardness of the soil. This eventually will enhance the absorption of water by the roots of plants. A good bio-organic fertilizer supposedly should be a factor to improvement of plant nutrition, increment of soil fertility resulting in better harvest levels, and better resistance to attacks. Furthermore, a great organic fertilizer should effectively enhance the returns of farm producers whilst the production and soil maintenance cost should corresponding cut down.

Finally, rich nutrients in bio-organic fertilizers should nutritious the soil, tackle soil erosion and compaction, and allow uninterrupted and healthy plant growths.

Note : after treatments with such right organic fertilizers, the soil with plenty of organic matter (OM) will remain loose, give root radicle to penetrate the soil comfortably to absorb nutrients and provide a steady stream of nutrients to the stems and leaves.
