Teachers and stress in the realm of education must never meet. For one, they don't match at all. There is a clear disparity between the two. And most importantly, if subjected to stress, teachers will surely be at risk for several issues.

There are many reasons why stress should be prevented and avoided. In an environment such as the school, teachers are the ones who most often experience this type of anxiety. With that said, here are several areas where teachers and stress should not even meet halfway.

Area 1: Health deterioration. The most common area that stress can come through is the teacher's physique. For one, since stress is a bodily reaction, this is also the first area that will be hit. Thus, it is no wonder that when a person is under stress, they often experience body pains. Worse complications could lead to a heart attack, stroke and even death. It is no wonder why teachers must avoid this kind of scenario and constantly be aware if anxiety might be creeping up on them. Having a precautionary measure can reduce the stress and might even save your life.

Area 2: Emotional instability. Whenever we are stressed, we often feel irritated and angry. As a teacher, if we succumb tothese feelings, it can lead to bad lecture discussions and poor classroom organization. With that said, it is strongly recommended that teachers and stress do not mix at all. You will not only hurt yourself, but also other people around you. Who knows what you might say or even do just because you are experiencing anxiety? This can even mean risking your job as well.

Area 3: Mental trouble. Due to the surge of different aspects of injury in chronic stress such as blood pressure and others, our brain works harder to cope with the new scenario. This can eventually strain your brain. In addition, since the emotion now is more, it can certainly affect our judgments and our reasoning. We could do things unexpectedly, such as doing something inappropriate or nothing at all. This can be very bad on your teacher evaluation and feedback.

These are just the main reasons why stress for teachers must be something to prevent. As a matter of fact there are many areas that anxiety can affect with varying intensity of bad results. Thus, always remember that teachers and stress never mix; so in time, when you experience something you already have measures to battle it out.
