Hampshire is a great place to visit for you and your friends or to take the whole family, with activities such as country walks and cycles, horse riding, or water sports there is so much to do you'll never be bored.

Hotels in Hampshire are perfectly placed set in the British countryside you will be spoiled by the stunning natural beauty, dotted around the country side are Stately Homes and gardens that you can visit and learn about the history of the area. Famous places of interest include Stansted Park, Haughton Lodge and Jane Austen's home all within a few miles of each other. If you have a National Trust membership you can get free entrance to most of these places, but even if you don't you can appreciate the fantastic gardens as Hampshire has strong horticultural roots- no pun intended! You can also visit Britain's youngest national park at the New Forest, which is even Dog friendly if you don't want to leave man's best friend at home.

If you or your family want a bit more of a lively holiday then you don't have to settle for stately homes and gardens Hampshire has something for everyone including Go Ape where you can swing amongst the trees on an obstacle course 20 foot in the trees, or visit the military ships in the historic Dockyard, where your kids can pretend to be Pirates. Hampshire also has an aquarium called the Blue Reef Aquarium where you and your kids can see exotic fish and sea life.

Your Hampshire hotel will also be able to point you in the direction of Hampshire's rich arts society from dance and theatre performances to live music. You can also visit the Lights, which is an arts centre with regular performances in Musicals, West End theatre, Shakespeare, Dance floors and creative classes so you can watch or participate as much as you like. It even has a relaxing cafe to sit and chill after you have been learning new dances or crafts.

If all you want from your holiday in Hampshire is a relaxing time and good company with friends, and family then you will be spoiled for choice at the numerous bars and restaurants around Hampshire. You will never go hungry with farmers markets, family friendly pubs or fine dining in Hampshire's top restaurants. Many Hotel Hampshire will often put on excellent evening meals so if you don't want to you never have to leave your hotel, but with so much Hampshire has to offer I'm sure you will have a great time.
