There is a ton of energy, not only physical energy, wasted when you spend minutes or hours searching for things.
Time is the second reason. These days, everyone is super busy and living in a disorganized home eats up a lot of your time because you're constantly looking for things. If everything has its place and you always know where everything is, then you don't waste any moments looking for things. A decluttered house, with everything in its correct spot, is an important way to save time. You'll feel much better because of all the time you're saving.
Reason #3 - Appearance. This is kinda dishearting to hear, but people really do get judged by their peers for being cluttered and unorganized. If your friends, family or co-workers see you are a cluttered mess who is always losing things, they're going to think you're a less capable and competent person. That is a fact. Work hard to show people your true colors, not the messiness of clutter!
