subject: Where to Turn for Power During The Energy Crunch [print this page]

In our existing planet state, citizens are wary of the existing electricity crunch. Our non-renewable energy sources that we have depended on for centuries, such as coal, oil and natural fuel are swiftly running out. Our world is sucking up more energy sources at a faster rate then ever before and within the next century we very well may be completely out of traditional energy source, like oil.

Not just are all of us running out of these fossil fuels, but our rising reliance upon them has caused irreversible damage to our environment. The threat of global warming, which most everyone is familiar with, has happened, in part, to the huge consumption of fossil fuels and the subsequent release of carbon dioxide into the air. And, the recent disaster inside the Gulf of Mexico, exactly where hundreds of millions of gallons of oil leaked to the ocean from the sunken oil rig is a different example with the dangers of fossil fuel extraction. Thousands of people's livelihoods, as well as the local habitat was destroyed by the enormous oil spill.

So, where are we to turn for a solution to our energy crisis? Solar energy would be a great answer to that question! Energy from the sun does not cost a thing and is always going to be around. As prolonged as our sun continues to burn, we will likely be supplied with unlimited pv power, and also the sun also is never likely to charge us a cent for it!

An individual may not be aware of how much you really can save by installing a solar energy system in your home. They require minimal maintenance, and are unobtrusive. As long as they are provided the necessary sunlight, they will continue to provide energy. Using solar energy, you can save quite a bit on your monthly electric bill, or if you choose to expand your solar panel system, you truly could power your entire property with solar energy and ELIMINATE your energy bill.

That is why solar panels have become such a popular alternative to traditional energy sources. If you like working with your hands and can do basic construction, then you too could build your own solar panels, and will save lots of cash in the process, compared to having them professionally installed.

Make the leap to solar energy - you, your wallet and our planet will be thankful you did!
