subject: What Makes A Good Motivational Speaker? [print this page]

Success as a human being is not a matter of luck or circumstance. It's not

a matter of fate of the breaks you get or who you know. Success is a

matter of sticking to a set of common sense principles anyone can master.

In selecting a good Motivational Speaker, Eldon Montgomery explains these

guidelines with such clarity and style that his motivational speeches has

become one of the most popular in our society today. The magic word in his

life is "attitude". It determines your actions, as well as the actions of

others. It tells the World what you expect from it in return.

How To Develop A Good Attitude

When this motivational speaker delivers his speech about "attitude" he

will take you step by step in order to present a clear and concise picture

to your audience of exactly what he is talking about. Attitudes are

generally positive or negative views of a person, place, thing, or event--

this is often referred to as the attitude object.

There are a number of different ways that an individual can pursue the

path to develop a good "attitude". Some of these ways are to include;

writing in a Journal, listening to music, playing with their pets, playing

with their child, talking with a good friend, or even taking the time to

call their parents...The list goes on and on about the many different

ways.

Ways To Control How Others Feel About You

With this motivational speaker, he also understands as well as other

famous speakers that what goes on in the inside of a person will

inevitably reflect on his outside environment.

Without uttering a single word, anyone from any walk of life can pick up

on how a person is feeling inside of them and they will reflect it back to

them each and every single time. A good example is when someone smiles at

you, the automatic response, no matter what their "attitude" they will

smile.

Two Extremely Important Words

There are (2) two extremely important words that a good motivational

speaker should share with your audience. These are to include --

-"gratitude" and "forgiveness".

Now, "gratitude" is when a person is thankful for all of the things that

they have in their life right now and will continually be thankful for it.

When it comes to "forgiveness", it is important that a person looks within

themself to release and completely let go of any "attitudes" or grudges

that they may be holding against someone for what they did to them. It is

an unhealthy emotion that ultimately affects a person in the long run as

it does not affect the person they are holding the grudge on.

If your attitude is one of negativity and criticism, that's what you will

receive from the rest of the World. If, however, your "attitude" is

positive, upbeat, and forgiving, then that is the exact response you will

get on a consistant basis in your life. So what he is saying is that when

you accept responsibility for your "attitude" and your "actions", then you

will accept the responsibility for your entire life.
