Sun, sand, surf and beers served to you at a beachside restaurant that only cost about $1. Beautiful vacation homes renting for $70 a night or basic and clean hotels rooms as low as $25 a night. If you need a break that is affordable then this is the place for you.
With only 1500 full-time residents La Manzanilla is a quiet and peaceful fishing village. But if you are looking to start your morning off with a yoga class, spend the afternoon boogie boarding or kayaking and finish the day having a wonderful meal on the beach this is the place for you. Many of the full time residences do not speak English, but not to worry they are used to foreign tourists and rarely will you have difficulty ordering a meal, requesting extra towels or getting directions.
Where is La Manzanilla, Mexico?
Its located 4 hours drive south of Puerto Vallarta or 45 minutes north of Manzanillo International airport, on the Costa Alegre, or Happy Coast. The Caribbean has the Rivera Maya we have the Costa Alegre.
