subject: unable to open some DVDs and some i can.. even DVDs with documents also not opening..? [print this page] have checked my DVD drive.have checked my DVD drive.. its condition is ok... so unable to solve d problem.. even i downloaded DVD decoder recently.. but no result.. how come some DVDs play and some not... plz help i pisseed off with dis... is der anything i ned 2 do in OS??
try vlc media player if you put disk in player can you see it if you open my computer if it has something on it should see it also has it been finelized if recorded it with a dvr could be differnt kind of dvd read write dvd for older dvrs well not work on a pc at all they have to be for computer or not read write one other thing do games work
if they work ok games play some dvd work try system restore go start then help support the system restore go back to a time when everthing worked if you download a virus and its making dvd fail then restore the computer go back to time no virus and works ok good luck also one last thing if dont want to do restore try turning off computer all the way power strip everthing then restart and try dvd again some times this well help
