Hair bleaching is not really a hair removal technique but it is used to disguise the hair against the skin by making it appear much lighter so it is harder to see. We cannot get a very light color without bleaching. Our hair bonds with chains of melanin. Our hair contains 2 types of melanin: eumelanin and phaeomelanin. Asian's hair which is black and dark in color contains more eumelanin than phaeomelanin. The natural color of human hair is first and foremost directly tied to hereditary factors. Hair coloring can add spice and enhance many hair styles. A good hair color can add shine, drama and fun to your hair style. It can make some hair types easier to style.

If you have very pale translucent skin then colouring your hair jet black can be pretty drastic and make you look like something out of a vampire movie but then again if you are into the 'vampish' look then pale skin with dark hair and bright red lipstick might be just your thing. Try to avoid the sun and the chlorine in swimming pools. Both of these can fade your color. Never wash your color treated hair in hot water. Use cool to lukewarm water and finish with cold water to help seal the cuticles of your hair. Do not bleach your hair more than once a day. If you try to take your hair from dark to pale blonde in one day you will totally fry it. It is best to keep it to once a week or leave it even longer between sessions (if you can bare it) as your hair needs time to recover.

Prepare the bleach as the direction state on the bottle you have purchased. If you are making your own mixture, find a recipe that is easy to follow and will not cause damage tot he scalp. As long as you follow directions, you will not run into any problems or complications. Not all hair color can be used. Unfortunately, bleaching works better when you have light hair color. So when dark colored hair will not benefit of bleaching.Unlike other methods of taking care of facial hair, when bleaching, the hair still grows. When the hair does grow the real hair color will be shown. This might be awkward to some.

All permanent hair dye contains an alkaline agent called ammonia. During the permanent hair coloring process, the ammonia in the hair dye is mixed with the developer, also known as the oxidizing agent, which is usually hydrogen peroxide. Perming, coloring, or bleaching your hair can cause hair loss because it weakens the hair strand. Tight pony-tails or braids can cause hair loss from actually pulling the hair from the roots. Diagnosing and removing the cause of the stress will likely allow hair to re-grow fully. In general, however, hair dyes are safe to use. Most products advise consumers to try a skin test several days before applying the dyes. If any adverse reaction is noticed, don't use the dye and perhaps consult a doctor, depending on the circumstances.
