Mushroom Hunting: Now this is something I never saw myself doing, but is apparently a pretty popular hobby. There are a few guidelines to keep the park safe, but other than that--free food! Great for: Healthy-eaters, people on a budget

Horseback Riding: To be honest I rode horses at Oakland County parks a kid; so this isnt necessarily a new surprising amenity. Riding horses is a great way to relax outdoors. Great for: Groups, nature lovers
Ski & Snowshoe: This is a great way to get outdoors in the winter--and you can bring your cooped up pup along for the adventure. Great for: Snow bunnies, groups
