Lego, the educational and building toys company, often releases two kinds of sets. Regular sets that available in all stores and online locations and Limited Edition sets that are only sold in certain stores. Lego has had a long term relationship with one chain of toy stores, Toys R Us and have released a number of Fan's Choice sets exclusively to this franchise.

In 2010, they released another of the sets Lego fan's voted as one they would like to see made, Set 8404, Public Transport Station. Even at first glance this large set is a winner. The colors and sheer range of elements in this set is instantly appealing and it is easy to see why fans voted for it. When the City Corner set was released earlier in 2010 we were given the first glance at the new bus design at it impressed many with its modern look. Lego have now built on that design and added other city vehicle options as well.

With a city bus, tram, street sweeper and sports car as well as 6 minifigures and three separate platforms and a wide range of cool accessories this set has everything a modern Lego city needs to keep the minifigs moving. The minifigs include a bus driver, tram driver, bicyclist, shop assistant, garbage truck driver and general all-around passenger (who has many options to choose from including a bicycle!).

Each vehicle is highly distinctive and colourful, the tram a black and blue combination, the bus lime green and white, while the street cleaner and taxi are orange and yellow respectively. Each vehicle is very well designed to represent a modern form of city transport and has a matching station where passengers can alight and then transfer to another vehicle.

Overall it is one of the most aesthetically appealing sets of 2010 with a heap of playability for kids-highly recommended.
