subject: Alternative Energy Sources For Homes [print this page]

Due to rising electricity costs many people are searching for alternative energy sources. Thankfully, because of advanced technology, you have several different ways that you can implement these.

The most popular ones are solar, wind, and generators. While there are many other renewable energy sources, these so far have been the most popular.

The following three systems can all be installed in your home by you with little very instruction and at a very small cost.

1. Solar Power

The amount of solar power reaching our planet in one hour is more then enough to power the world for one whole year!

People have been placing solar panels on their rooftops for decades. And thanks to advanced technology, solar panels are becoming even more efficient at capturing the sun's energy. Even just placing a fuel solar cells on top of your roof can help you to save a lot of in electrical costs.

2. Wind Turbines

More and more people are seeing wind turbines across the country. This is because wind is one of the cleanest and easiest sources of energy to harvest.

Luckily there are smaller windmill kits that you can use for your home. Most of these kits are easy to build and cost less than $10,000.

3. Magniwork

An electromagnetic generator, or overunity motor, can be a great way to generate lots of free electricity for your home. These generators produce more electricity than they consume.

Many people claim that they are already using this technology to power their houses. These generators are fairly cheap to build and most can be built for less than $250.

As you can see these are just a few of the alternative energy sources that you can use to power your home and to help you slash your electricity bills.

I urge you to continue learning about this subject matter and to even buy books or to visit more websites to learn more about how to go green.
