subject: Naruto Shippuden - Protect the Waterfall Village [print this page] It's summer and Naruto and gang are performing missions. Their newest mission would be to escort the leader of this Hidden Waterfall Village. However when Kakashi is called back in Konoha for an emergency jounin meeting, he leaves Naruto and gang behind. At the same time, an attack is initiated on the Hidden Waterfall Village, led by a missing-nin, and it is former strongest jounin is executed. All this can be an attempt to find the "hero water", which multiplies your chakra tenfold in exchange for yourself. Naruto and also the gang have no choice but to do battle with the enemy to be able to rid the Hidden Waterfall Village of their menace.
RECAP :
The leader on the village hidden within the waterfall hiring Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to support him clear trash in the waterfall. The leader, Shibuki, is actually a scaredy-cat and freaks on everything, including a bird. the bird turns out to simply be a message from Kakashi, telling him that there's a major Jounin meeting going on. Kakashi leaves.
An elderly woman then appears, revealing that she's Shibuki's mother and also the village has attacked. Sasuke has Sakura take her to a safe place while he and Naruto defend the village. Then knocks down both Naruto and Shibuki to assist them to doge a flurry of Kuni. He then knocks Naruto into the water and tells him to guard Shibuki. Shibuki then runs and, having a certain water called the 'Hero Water'. Then he reappears next to Naruto and explains that the Hero Water is known as a special type of water from the Waterfall village that may give the user a ten-fold boost in his/hers chakra, but weakens the user's body. Naruto then tells him to drink it and help defend the village, but Shibuki is unsure about this. Naruto scolds him and leaves.
Seeing Naruto's selfish actions to protect the village, Shibuki decides to drink it, and joins the fight, but gets badly injured n addition. Unfortunately, the Hero Water falls into the hands of one of many attackers, Suien, a missing-nin from the hidden waterfall village. He drinks water continuously, increasing his chakra with a lot. He then gloats for the power he has. Sasuke remarks that that power's just fake simply because it's not his true power. Suien just blasts Sasuke right into a tree, which angers Naruto to cause him to contact famous fox demon.
Naruto then knocks back Suien with his chakra while Sasuke, seeing his chance, blasts the bottle of Hero Water with his fireblast technique. Together, they managed to defeat Suien.
