women alike, models which they knowingly or unknowing follow.
The famous pink diamond ring of Norma Shearer, the enchanting wedding gown of Princess Di, and the beautiful texture of the hair the Japanese Pop Queen Amuro Namie are just a few examples that have captivated the hearts of young girls and older women a like. Even one with a rebellious outlook will keep a rebel as her icon.
Rephrasing the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, I would like to ask, We would never know how much real influence the fashion idols have on individual or collective styles, but we would also never know what styles will remain if there were no idols to look up to. But what is certain is that, people will go on following their leaders.
