Blogging is easy but one thing that separates a good blog from the rest of the pack is how often you post information on your blog. You may have been on a couple of discussion forums and heard people say they do not post to their blog if they have nothing to say. That's all well and good but what predictably happens is the amount of time between having something to say gets longer and longer. They start out with great enthusiasm and post daily, than every few days, followed by once a week which then turns into a couple times a month or longer.

Blogging is not meant primarily as a substitute for face-to-face interaction, but can certainly keep interesting conversations going without any apparent interruptions so the topic can be done justice. This way, there is unlimited flexibility for the participants to continue with their everyday lives and, in this process, think of possible contributions of their own to make to the forum while the topic is fresh in their minds. This is crucial to developing a sense of community beyond what each participant may be familiar with already. All users, by participating in the forum, can in time break down barriers easily caused by varying personality traits.

Blogging is an internet phenomenon that can be described as a blend of personal diary, op ed commentary, and practical journalism. The word "blog" comes from "web log" which is a reference to the origins of blogging. In the early days, blogs were no more than online journals where people wrote about anything they wanted (what they had for dinner, how their mood was that day, etc.), much like the pen and paper journals that people have kept for centuries. However, with the growing ease of access to and familiarity with the internet, people realized they could now share their feelings with the entire world!

One of the main reasons that you would want to create a blog is simply - Google loves blogs! This is because of the fresh content that continuously gets uploaded. As you may have heard many time by now, "content is king". And what this phrase basically means is that Google love new content, they want to see websites that are continuously updating and changing their content. Other website that fall into this category are news website, review websites, forums and community sites.
