People who are always on the go will be pleased with the new model by HTC. The HTC Desire adopts an Android operating system, which can easily be upgraded to Android 2.2. Users can send text and instant messages, e-mails, and multimedia messages. Business features such as e-mail, company contacts, and a calendar allows users to stay informed of whatever is happening at the office.

One fun feature of the HTC Desire is its "pinch" feature, where users can see all the home screens which are open on the phone with just one pinch. This allows users to check the weather, update their Tweets, and even edit their Microsoft Powerpoint presentations all at once. They can even share and store files online using the Dropbox application.

This mobile phone doesn't lack games either. The widely popular video game, Assassins Creed, can be downloaded from the Android Market and onto the phone easily. Music lovers can personalize their playlists and even get information about unknown songs. Users can even access their Facebook profile and see what's new in the social networking world.

The HTC Desire comes in brown, silver, white, and black, and its small size makes it easy to slip into one's back pocket or bag. An entire media and messaging center has been squeezed into a mobile phone weighing 135 grams, and users can choose between the 2G and 3G versions. The 2G versions have a call time of 6 hours and 40 minutes, while the 3G versions support a call time of 6 hours and 30 minutes.

Some missing features of this mobile phone include the ability to insert a memory card for extra storage. Users have only 120 MB for adding apps, which prevents users from downloading a lot of games into the phone. The phone's media player cannot support DivX and XviD files, which can be disappointing for those who love these formats. Nevertheless, the HTC Desire makes up for these shortcomings by the excellent features which have been highlighted above. Now all that is left for consumers is to wait until the next HTC model is released. Until then, enjoy.
