subject: Inheritance Book 4 Preview [print this page] Inheritance book 4, composed by Christopher Paolini, does not have a front cover yet. The fourth book follows the third book, Brinsingr.
The Inheritance Series was actually intended to be a trilogy, but Christopher Paolini let it be known that during writing, the length of the third book grew rapidly, and the book was rearranged into 2 parts to be published as two distinct books. Because Paolini decided to do this, many of the ideas that were originally intended for the third book will now be in the 4th book.
A while back, the author expressed that book 4 in the Inheritance series should have a new rider and a drawing of a green dragon as the cover artwork. Beyond all that, we practically know nothing about anything else. In Brisingr, he gave us some parts from the Cycle finale, which was meant to entice the readers and help the people reading to get excited about book four.
The release date of the final part of the Inheritance series currently has not been announced. A lot of people are convinced that the time might be sometime this year, while many others truly believe that the last chapter of the series will not be released for a very long time, even a year or more. However, I am convinced it should be close to around the new year when the fourth book is published. But as for now, not one person knows anything but Christopher Paolini.
The drawing on the front cover of the final book in the Inheritance series has not been seen by anyone either. Christopher reported that it will be of a magnificent green dragon, but aside from that, no one knows anything.
I will now summarize the series, so you can have a better idea of what to expect. It's focused around a kid who discovers a powerful egg from a dragon and later becomes one of the mythical dragon riders. After some intense training, the boy sets out to demolish the evil overlord and help all of the people enslaved by him. The Cycle finale will likely cure all plot line holes and hopefully contain a stupendous conclusion.
The fourth book will probably be great, and like me, you probably can't wait to begin on reading this book either. Hopefully it will come out soon.
