E.G. when the Victorian surgeons started cauterizing the cervix, rather than leaving it to drain, the survival rate spirally jumped to 92%. Today, a hysterectomy is meditated, absolutely appropriate. The survival rate has now gone up to upwards of 99%. Now, it can be performed in different ways which includes abdominally, vaginally, laparoscopically.
