Certified nursing assistant's are always needed. They help

considering this type of career, you may want to know

how you can become a CNA. To do this, you must first

participate in seventy five hours of approved training.

Following your training, an exam can be administered

for your certification.

"Where Can You Find Training?

There are many schools and training programs available

for training of this career choice, like colleges and health

organizations. Once you have enrolled in training, you

may have to train anywhere from a couple of weeks to

a couple of months. You will receive training in anatomy

and patient care, just to name a few. If you are interested

in a career helping others, this may be the career path for

you.

"You need to know"

Requirements for your certification will always depend on the state.

You should always be aware of which requirements you need to meet.

"Did you know there are many facilities in which you can get great

hands on training?" In most cases when you obtain certification

through a working facility, they will have a job to offer you once you

are certified. Of course there are costs! The price for this course can

cost anywhere from $300 to $600 dollars.

"The Exam"

Let's discuss the nursing assistant exam. If you have completed

your training program and the exam is coming up, then you

may be a bit nervous. You may be asking yourself, "Am I ready

to take the exam and can I pass?" It is important also to have

adequate rest and training before you take the exam. There are

a variety of practice exams available to you on the internet. They

may help you prepare properly prior to testing. "What does the

exam consist of?" You will be given a practical and written exam.

These parts of the exam are to test your medical knowledge and

technique. "Will I perform duties in this exam?" "Yes," You will be

asked to perform patient care technique so that the examiner can

test the way you will care for your patients. The person in charge

of administering your exam will be on the look, watching to make

sure you are following proper hygiene rules. Cleanliness is important

in obtaining your certification. Try not to worry too much about the

exam as this may cause stress which can have a negative affect

on you.
