Several flight schools have cropped up around India as a result of the increased importance of commercial pilot as a career option. This along with the increased investment of large corporate houses into this sector has allowed the setting up of world class flight schools in India. The state-of-the-art training equipment along with a fleet of brand new planes for training has fuelled the popularity of Indian aviation schools. Nowadays several students have begun opting for the flight schools right here in India rather than going abroad for pilot training.

There are a number of reasons for this including world class training facilities available to students and the stark difference in the cost of education. In India flight schools charge almost one-fourth of the admission fees abroad. Home ground always proves to be an advantage for aspiring pilots.

However even though several students plan on choosing commercial pilot as a career not may are able to gather the all the necessary information due to the lack of optimum information dispersion systems. All that is set to change as a number of flight schools in India have begun an active process of creating platforms both on the ground and on the web for ensuring easy accessibility to students for information. Educational Qualification

One can join this course while studying in class Xth or above. However for grant of CPL license eligibility is Class XII with Physics & Maths as subjects

Medical

Basic health fitness, for regular CPL course, Class II is mandatory and for grant of CPL license, Class I is mandatory.

Age

16 years and above. Please note for grant of CPL license one should be 18 years old on date of issue of license

Nationality

As of now this course is offered only to Indian Nationals

Other

Adequate competency in English Language.

NIL
