The 178.54 meter tall Jardine House in Hong Kong Island is a unique and sophisticated building which is well known for its cutting edge architectural style. This impressive 52 storey office tower stands out mainly due to its distinctive round shaped windows.

When this striking building was first built it was identified commonly as Connaught Centre. Positioned strategically at 1 Connaught Place Central, the current owner of the tower is Hongkong Land Limited, which is a part of Jardines. When construction work of the Jardine House was completed in 1972, it was Hong Kongs and Asias tallest skyscraper. However, with the construction of Hopewell Centre in 1980, Jardine House lost its status as Hong Kongs highest building. Nevertheless, this metal frame building stands as an exceptional landmark even today in the heart of this phenomenal destination.

The 16 floor, old Jardine House was established in 1948 at 20 Pedder Street. Replacing the old building, the new Jardine House which was built at Connaught Place became a groundbreaking creation for the entire region.

This unmatched office tower is connected internally with many other key buildings such as the Exchange Square as well as the International Finance Centre. Important offices located within the premises include the ticket office of Qantas Airways, British Airways and Rolex Company which occupies floor number 14.

Recognized as one of the citys most prominent, well known and important buildings, Jardine House is also included in the Victoria Harbour Lighting Plan of Hong Kong Tourism Commission. It is easily accessible since it is positioned in close proximity to the Airport Express Station as well as the Central Mass Transit Railway Terminus.

Jardine House is also located within easy reach to many top class Hong Kong hotels such as the Langham Place Mongkok Hong Kong. To experience a comfortable stay while exploring many of the citys great attractions there is no better place than this fine hotel Hong Kong is proud to call its own.
