The Samsung Lindy M5650 is one of the newest phones to drop into the United Kingdom. This impressive little phone is not meant as much for the high end user, but the casual everyday type of person. It is a smaller phone which means that young people will enjoy it as well as bright colors on the screen for the older generation. It is actually a cousin of another Samsung phone, the Corby S3650. There are a few differences between the Corby S3650 and the Samsung Lindy M5650. First of all, instead of a small 2 megapixel camera, the Lindy has been upgraded to a 3 megapixel camera. This makes taking pictures much easier as well as improves the quality of the shot some. Also new to the Lindy is the ability to use Wifi connectivity over a mobile phone. This is just becoming standard on many smart phones, let alone everyday use mobile phones. High speed connectivity is also now possible with the Lindy thanks to its various upgrades. The phone itself is quite small weighing in at 4 ounces and under 100 grams. While the small size does give it an advantage in your pocket, it does not allow for much of a battery life. In fact, you will only be able to talk for 3 hours on a full battery charge and even then you may find it shorter. Also, only 300 hours of standby time is available on a full battery charge, still quite competitive when compared to many other smart phones. The resolution is rather good for a phone of this size and price range. You get a 240x320 screen that allows you to not only see but to use the mobile phone quite well. The Lindy does have a touchscreen which is great for people who love the ability to use one. It is not too necessary with a phone of this size and type, but it is a nice feature nonetheless. You are able to listen to quite a bit of different music with the Lindy. Whether you have music from the iTunes music store or have taken MP3 files off of your favorite file sharing site, they can all be loaded onto the Lindy. You probably are not going to load them onto the internal memory, which is only 50 MB. Rather, you need to use an external memory card such as the microSD card. These cards are readily available at many shops that sell mobile phones and electronics. The mobile phone does included java, which is nice for people who need to use it on the internet. You are able to record small clips of your voice, in case you want to remember something that you might forget. Speaker phone is included with the Samsung Lindy M5650, and is quite powerful. If you do run out of things to try and do with this mobile phone, try adding some contacts. You are able to not only store more than one number per contact, but add the contacts amazingly fast.About the Author:
