subject: 3 Steps to Fix Things Up if You've Started You Online Business the Wrong Way [print this page]

First of all, let me make something clear: it's by no means impossible to have success online no matter your situation or how you've started. I'm talking about the chances, that are way smaller if you start it wrong.

Think of any path you have to walk through. If you start your walk going to the opposite side, it's gonna be much harder to get to your destination. If you go to the right side but head off some degrees, you'll start going to another direction, which may lead to a place a little different, or even completely different.

If you learn how to do something the wrong way, you'll have to analyze if you've learned it the totally wrong way or if it's just not the perfect way. In the first case, you'll have to start over and try to forget what you had learned before. If not, you can just adjust your walk.

Take a look at those steps you can take if you happened to start your online business the wrong way, either totally wrong or something that can be adjusted:

1) Clean up the mess

It might seem too difficult or just too painful undoing or forgetting everything you did so far.

Remember though that you're not building something as important as you own skills. Your learning is the more important, and it enables you to repeat a good formula over and over without taking as much time as the first time.

If the way you started things up wasn't totally wrong, you probably learned something and you'll do it much faster next time. Don't be afraid.

2) Learn the right way

Take your time looking for the right way to do your business and don't be afraid of spending some hours researching about it and planning what you're going to do.

In fact, most likely there's not only one way to do what you're intending to, but there is for sure the best way to do according to the very nature of your business.

3) Follow every step from the right way

Don't assume you just know how to do something already, because you could be actually lacking something important that you will finally learn if you don't just skip it.

Try not to think of the time you're spending with this new beginning as an additional time to what you've spent already. Consider it a new start and do it the right way right from the beginning.
