Approval meant getting the signatures of a large number of senior managers. All of the Program Directors and various support staff met once a week on a Thursday Morning from 8:30 to 10:30. The day after I was the first successful Program Director to get my Business Case approved, I showed up at the Thursday Meeting, announced that we had been successful in getting the Business Case signed and my PA proceeded to haul in a few bottles of Champagne and Orange Juice and we celebrated the occasion throughout the meeting with a number of Bucks Fizzes.
