Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Desire is its brilliant screen. Measuring 3.7" the capacitive touchscreen is very responsive, and thanks to the manufacturer choosing to use AMOLED technology rather than the standard TFT the images presented on screen are very crisp and rich in colour. The display supports multi touch and the phone also incorporates an accelerometer chip so the phone can perform auto rotate functions. Displaying a 480 x 800 resolution, the screen is perhaps the best currently available. Connectivity is not a problem on the handset either. WiFi is included or whilst on the move the phone support 3G, GPRS and EDGE, meaning wherever you are you can always keep up to date on what is happening around you. The phone also covers social networking well with both Twitter and Facebook widgets installed, and the excellent friendstream function grouping a variety of social network updates from your friends all together in one place. The phone has a 1400mAh battery and also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port.
