The Vancouver Canucks have lost their share of first place in the Northwest Division, but they have no reason to believe theyre going to fall out of the race any time soon. After a tough division loss, the Canucks look to extend a nine-game point streak in a matchup with the slumping Nashville Predatorson Monday night.Vancouver (27-16-2) has two defeats in its last nine games (7-0-2). It hasnt lost in regulation since a 3-1 defeat against St. Louis on Dec. 20. The Canucks, though, fell 3-2 to Calgary in a shootout Saturday night, dropping one point behind the Flames in the Northwest. Vancouver and Calgary entered that contest in a tie for first place. It was a tough game offensively for the Canucks, who scored 11 goals in their previous two games. They still had some bright spots, though, with Daniel Sedin and Mikael Samuelsson scoring in regulation.
