I am aiming for top spot in the search engines, especially Google, so my competition should be low and my search volume high. I use 35,000 result pages as a benchmark. If I find keywords with more than that amount, I scrap them.
4) Then I run another check. I called it common sense elimination'. If for example, I found a keyword like nutritionist in area A', and I was aiming for diet food nutrition', I would simply scrap that keyword because I would not be able to deliver what is required by the search.
